Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 Arrives October 23, Adds Switch 2

Activision and Infinity Ward officially announced Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 in May, and this month's early-access beta push confirmed the game launches October 23 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and — for the first time since 2013 — a native Nintendo release on Switch 2.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches October 23 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The campaign centers on a full-scale North Korean invasion of the Korean Peninsula, following a young squad of South Korean soldiers fighting to hold a collapsing front line while Captain Price runs a parallel, off-the-books operation. It's a return to the grounded, boots-on-the-ground storytelling that defined the original Modern Warfare trilogy after a run of larger-scale, gadget-heavy entries.
Campaign Early Access for digital pre-orders opens October 16, a week ahead of launch. An open beta ran earlier this month, with players who hit level 20 and level 30 unlocking operator skins and weapon blueprints that carry into the full release.
