GTA VI Trailer 3 — "An Extended Look" — premieres on Netflix tomorrow

Rockstar Games and Netflix announced a first-of-its-kind partnership: Grand Theft Auto VI's third trailer, billed as "An Extended Look," premieres exclusively on Netflix at 3:00 PM ET on August 27, 2026, running a full 30 minutes — by far the longest look at the game released to date.

Rockstar's own YouTube channel and the official Grand Theft Auto VI site won't carry the video until 9:00 PM ET the same day, giving Netflix subscribers a six-hour head start. It's the first time a mainline GTA trailer has debuted on a streaming platform ahead of YouTube, and reactions are split between calling it clever cross-promotion and frustration that a game trailer is temporarily gated behind a subscription.

The reveal lands in the middle of an ongoing leak saga around the game — Rockstar has given no indication the timing was moved because of it. The Extended Look arrives with just under three months left before GTA VI's November 19, 2026 launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
