Dre'Quan Priest is a confirmed supporting character trying to make it big in music. He used to book acts for Boobie Ike's strip club and now works under Boobie at Only Raw Records, splitting his time between making music and dealing drugs around Vice City's clubs.
He's the one who signed the duo Real Dimez to the label, and Rockstar's material frames the two of them as actively chasing a genuine hit song together.
