Rockstar's official character page confirms Lucia Caminos as one of two playable protagonists, and the first female lead in a mainline Grand Theft Auto entry. Their line: "Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk."
"Life has been coming at her swinging ever since. Fighting for her family landed her in the Leonida Penitentiary. Sheer luck got her out. Lucia's learned her lesson — only smart moves from here."
She partners with Jason Duval for a run of jobs across Leonida — Rockstar has described the pairing as central to the story, a modern take on real-life criminal-couple cases that inspired the writers.
